Idol Obama, Michelle

Obama is my new idol. I regretted not forcing myself to stay awake to watch his inauguration that night. And the next morning, I scrambled to watch his videos online and catch his latest news. I was so overwhelmed by his speech that I nearly teared.

I like him, for being himself. For not being afraid to try, to have a dream.

As I watched him take his oath with Michelle staying beside him, I daydreamed about me as Michelle and jw as Obama. Which woman does not wish her partner to be successful? And true enough, at the back of every successful man is a capable and sacrificing woman. A woman who gives up her own dreams and career for her family.

Can I be someone like her? Will I be like her in the future?
